Environment and performance
The heat treatment is carried out completely without chemicals, making it a highly sustainable and responsible choice from an environmental perspective.
Our Thermowood is Nordic Swan Ecolabelled and can be supplied with fire classification B (up to B-s1,d0 for stained products and B-s2,d0 for unstained products). For standard Thermowood without added fire-retardant treatment, we also have approved test results according to D-s1,d0 for all heat-treated wood species without staining, as well as D-s1,d0 for pine and spruce with staining.
In collaboration with Woodsafe Timber Protection AB, we can also offer façade systems that meet the test criteria of SP Fire 105, which is normally required to comply with the Swedish building regulations for taller timber façades.
