Environment and performance
The heat treatment is carried out completely without chemicals, making it a highly sustainable and responsible choice from an environmental perspective. Our Thermowood is Nordic Swan Ecolabelled and can be fire-tested according to SP Fire 105 (colored B-s1,d0 and uncolored B-s2,d0). We also have approved tests according to D-s1,d0 without coloring (as well as D-s1,d0 on colored pine tongue-and-groove) without adding any additional fire-retardant properties.
