Natural Thermowood pine cladding for Hurum Brygge

At Tofte in Hurum, Hurum Brygge has emerged as a residential project combining modern design with a fantastic waterfront location. The project comprises 56 apartments across four buildings, eight terraced houses and one detached house.

Historically, Hurum Brygge is a former industrial site for cellulose and paper production, established in the early 1900s. Since the closure of industrial operations in 2009, the area has been planned over many years, with a vision of developing a coastal town at the southern tip of Hurum. That vision encompasses homes, holiday homes and a hotel, combining historic and new buildings.

Natural Thermowood pine cladding was supplied to Hurum Brygge – a material with both high durability and a naturally long service life. The cladding also helps give the buildings a modern, timeless expression.
