Amalie Skram Upper Secondary School
Brandpanel XVeneer birch with ash face veneer was supplied to Amalie Skram Upper Secondary School, and Brandpanel INT ash slatted panels to the Alexander Dahle Oen arena (AdO). This public school building, which is also the national swimming and diving centre, sits at the water’s edge by Store Lungegårdsvann in Bergen and is the city’s largest landmark building. The total budget was approx. NOK 1.9 billion for the combined building of around 37,000 m², housing around 900 pupils and 100 staff (school section).
The school section includes teaching rooms, an auditorium, sports hall, canteen, library, group rooms, and offices and administration. The swimming arena contains an eight-lane 50-metre pool, diving pool, family pool and therapy pool.
