Fire-protected Thermowood for Hengende Hage Kolbotn
Ormerudveien 2, also known as Hengende Hage Kolbotn, comprises 25 apartments centrally located in Kolbotn. The building has a basement garage with a lift, and a playground has been built in the rear courtyard. The Hengende Hage Kolbotn project focused on the outdoor spaces. The building is designed to sit within the surrounding landscape, with several balconies and terraces stepping in and out of the building itself. The balconies are planted with Virginia creeper, Boston ivy and climbing hydrangea, giving the building a fine character in white and green, and yellow and red in autumn.
