Grong UKRK
Grong UKRK is a new, unifying cultural centre and school project in Grong municipality, Trøndelag. Comprising both a new school and a cultural centre, the project had a total budget of NOK 152 million – a major undertaking for a municipality of 2,400 inhabitants.
The building houses years 1–10 with room for 210 pupils and shares premises with the new cultural centre. Here you find a library, cinema, art exhibitions, Grong School of Music and Culture and Kuben café – all under one roof in Kuben cultural centre, centrally located at Medjå.
