Veitvet School
Veitvet School comprises a primary and lower secondary school for years 1 to 10 with a multi-purpose hall, and is a public-private partnership (PPP) project. The school will have capacity for approximately 850 students and is part of Perlekjedet, a planned cultural and environmental street along Veitvetveien. Veitvet School is also a flagship project within FutureBuilt, meaning the building is intended to showcase the future of climate-friendly and innovative school construction.
Fire-impregnated slatted panel and panel for interior use were supplied to the school. Brandpanel INT with a silver glaze is used in the foyer, mirroring the exterior panel and creating a cohesive, well-considered material expression between the outdoor and indoor environments. Brandpanel INT Slatted Panel in spruce with white pigmentation is used in the multi-purpose hall, giving the space a bright and airy character while the panel’s slatted design contributes to improved room acoustics. Together, these material choices create a safe, warm, and functional environment for the school’s students and staff.
